The desktop app is not a second copy of your company that you have to keep in step. It opens the exact same books as lisan.org/vinance. Post an invoice on your laptop at the office, reconcile a payment on the desktop at home, and there is only ever one ledger behind both. Nothing to export, nothing to merge, nothing to reconcile between the two.

Deep links
A link that lands exactly where you meant.
Vinance speaks a vinance:// URL scheme, so a link can point at one company and one screen. A payment reminder, a shared report, or a note to a colleague can carry a vinance:// link that opens the app straight to Meridian Trading Co. on invoice INV-1042, rather than dropping them at a dashboard to hunt for it.

Install & updates
A signed installer that picks its own build.
The installer is code-signed, so Windows shows a named publisher instead of an "unknown app" warning. One download covers both Intel and Arm machines: it detects whether you are on x64 or ARM64 and installs the right build. After that, updates arrive automatically from the release feed, so you are always on the current version without chasing a new download.

Its own window, not a tab
Vinance gets a taskbar icon, Alt+Tab entry, and a window you can pin. No lost tab, no accidental close, no browser chrome in the way of your numbers.

New releases install quietly from updates.lisan.org and apply on the next launch, so the desktop app and the web app stay on the same version.
macOS & Linux planned
A native Windows build ships today. macOS and Linux are planned, and the full web app already runs on those machines on the same live books.

Is the desktop app a separate copy of my data?
